Hi everyone! I’ve been a proud teacher at Burgess Elementary School for 29 years. This year, I’m excited to be teaching Computer Specials to students in Grades 3–6 and supporting our amazing staff with educational technology.
Over the years, I’ve worn a few different hats at Burgess — I spent 10 years teaching 5th grade Math and Science, worked as a Project Lead The Way (STEM) teacher, and have been teaching Computers for 19 years. I earned my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and my Master’s in Curriculum & Instructional Technology, and each role has added something meaningful to my experience as an educator. In the computer lab, my goal is to help students use technology in safe, creative, and meaningful ways that support their learning and prepare them for the future.
When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my husband and our two grown kids (24 and 22). I’m happiest when I’m out in nature — hiking, creating art, or enjoying time by the lake or ocean in New Hampshire. In the winter, you may even find us skiing up north. ⛷️🌲
Inspiring and engaging students is at the heart of my work. I want every child to feel empowered, capable, and excited to learn. It’s a joy to be part of the Burgess community and to work with our students each day. 💙
