NURSING SERVICES

• Assessment, Emergency & Basic First Aid, Referral & Follow-up for injury, illness, and health concerns

• Administration of medications and treatments as ordered by a physician

• State mandated screenings

• Collaboration with parents, school personnel, school physician, Board of Health & community agencies in regards to health, safety & environmental issues that may affect the well-being of the school population

• Promote health & provide counseling, advocacy & education

• Maintain student’s school health record
