A little about me:  I have lived in Tucson all my life.  I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with my Bachelor's Degree in Art and Visual Culture Education.  In my own artistic practices, I gravitate towards oil and watercolor painting, as well as graphite and colored pencil drawing.  Thematically, I based my art off of my own experiences, and am often inspired by friends and family and the environment around me here in Tucson.  Aside from art-making, I love to thrift and sew, go to concerts, try new foods, and go on bike rides.  I also have a corgi named Yoshi (pictured above).  This will be my first year teaching high school art, and I couldn't be more excited!  I'm confident that, together, we can make this year an uplifting and creatively driven experience as we discover a little more about ourselves as artists.
