Were you cleaning up and found a box of some awesome materials?  The art room would love to have them!  Old craft supplies, cool bits and bobs, fun papers?  We'll take them!

My goal is to let every student see success in their art.  I want them to feel confident in their skills and learn to love creating.  I will be connecting what we are doing in class to past artists and current artists.  Kids should see that art is not just what is on museum walls but can be easily accessed in our community.  I want students to recognize the need for art in their everyday lives and to understand how many careers rely on art skills and creative thinking.  In my classroom we will be teaching acceptance of ourself and our work.  By allowing mistakes and learning how to critique our creations, we will grow as an art community.
