About me

I am so excited to be your English teacher this year. This is my 7th year teaching and second year at HHMS. I love being apart of our Tors Family!

I live in Bedico with my husband-TJ and my teenage son who also happens to be TJ. We have 4 dogs, a cat, fish, and 2 pet rats. We love animals!

I am a product of TPSS. I went to Champ Cooper and graduated from Ponchatoula High School. I was a political science/ Pre-law major at Louisiana Tech University. I transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University my sophomore year of college which is where I graduated from with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies after changing majors my senior year. Law was no longer my passion. I decided to work and figure out what my passion was. After a four year break, I returned to Southeastern to pursue English Education as English was my minor previously. It was the best decision I ever made. I truly love teaching English.

I enjoy all things creative. I love to read, write (stories and poetry), draw, paint, and bake. I was a cake decorator for about 9 years. I enjoy being outside whether it's walking/ hiking or a day at the beach.

I cannot wait to get to know you all this year!
