The Kenneth A. Brett School is a small public school located in the White Mountain Valley in Tamworth, New Hampshire. The school is comprised of about two hundred students in grades Kindergarten through eight grade and a professional and caring staff committed to providing a rigorous and engaging learning experience for each student.
The mission of the Tamworth School District, a small rural community, is to prepare all students to become lifelong learners with the high standards of personal and academic achievement; to develop responsible leaders who will participate in and meet the challenges of the future. In addition to their academic course work, students are encouraged to participate in after school experiences including sports, clubs, and activities offered in response to student interest and supervisor availability.
As a school and community we are working together to nurture emotional and social growth, to hold and act upon high expectations, and to cultivate a comfortable and safe environment. Together, we can provide comprehensive and meaningful experiences so that each student will realize his or her greatest potential.
