I got my Ph.D in mathematics from CUHK in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Zhouping Xin. I did my postdoc in Texas A&M University (2017-2019, with Edriss Titi), Freie Universitaet Berlin (2019-2021, with Rupert Klein), and Weierstrass Institute (2022, with Marita Thomas).
I am interested in mathematical problems with strong physics background and real world applications.
I start my research with the free boundary problem of compressible flows. Lately, I am also interested in asymptotic limits of different fluid models and beyond, including but not limited to, low Mach number limit, quasi-geostrophic approximation, etc.
Asymptotic stability of free boundary problem of the compressible primitive equations, Joint work with E. Titi and Z. Xin
Guasi-geostrophic approximation in a channel with fast wave correction, Joint work with C. Bardos and E. Titi
Hydrostatic approximation of compressible flows, Joint work with E. Titi
Bounded entropy solutions to compressible Navier-Stokes equations, Joint work with Y. Yuan
Global solution to free boundary problem of isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations
I am teaching M308 during Fall 2024 in College Station.
All course materials will be accessible through Canvas.
Students are responsible for their own notes.
