Research Opportunities & Resource Fair

Colleges, departments, and other units will host resource tables at the Undergraduate Research Expo to recruit students into undergraduate research programs and educate students about the many available opportunities.

For any undergraduate interested in research, this workshop will provide an overview of research at Texas A&M, information on how to get started, and advice from current undergraduate researchers!




Mentoring Undergraduate Researchers Panel

This panel will provide undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and administrators the opportunity to hear perspectives on the best practices in mentoring undergraduate researchers at Texas A&M.

Discussion topics include:

  • Fostering independence in undergraduate researchers

  • Responsibilities of graduate student mentors and undergraduate researchers

  • Strategies for dealing with problems or issues

  • Establishing positive working relationships
