“The mission of the Society of American Foresters is to advance sustainable management of forest resources through science, education, and technology, promoting professional excellence while ensuring the continued health, integrity, and use of forests to benefit society in perpetuity.”
We are an organization made up of students who are passionate about forestry with frequent opportunities to speak with industry professionals and make connections with fellow Aggies. Additionally, members of our club represent Texas A&M at the Society of American Foresters national convention as well as other forestry related conferences.
We welcome all Texas A&M students to join regardless of major! Our weekly meetings alternate between speaker and social and take place every Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in WFES room 336. Hope to see you there!
