Parking Information for Texas A&M Recreational Sports

The Rec Center is south of the West Campus Garage and is designated as SREC on the map. For driving directions, the address is 797 Olsen Blvd but this address sometimes takes you the Administrative Building. It is best to enter 301 George Bush Drive west into the GPS locator. This is the address of Callaway House (private dorm). At the stop light, turn on to campus (Olsen Blvd). The south entrance is located at the first stop sign and parking lot 100J. The main entrance is located at the second stop sign, parking lot 104 and West Campus Garage.

Main Entrance to the Student Recreation Center

The main entrance is at the corner of Olsen Blvd and the West Campus garage. Rooms 281, 243, 255 and gyms 1-4 and 7-10 may be accessed through the main doors. Parking lot 104 has a 2.5 hours limitation Monday-Friday from 6am-5pm and a valid permit must be displayed. There are fifteen pay-to-park spaces. The pay kiosk is located next to the Natatorium. Please follow the directional signs. Guests may also park in the West Campus Garage for an hourly charge.

South Entrance (Recommended)

The Rec Center South entrance is located in parking lot 100J and is adjacent to Blue Bell Park/Olsen Field Baseball Stadium. Rooms 1134, 1130, 1132, 2229, 2225, 2221 and Gyms 5 & 6 are closest to this entrance. Any valid permit or pay-to-park receipt is required 6am Monday-5pm Friday. From 5pm Friday-6am Monday, no permit is required.

EXCEPTION: The 12^th Man Foundation secures the lot during baseball games and other athletic events. During baseball games, the lot is restricted to people with a special event permit. 1 ½ hours after the first pitch, the lot will open to guests. It is important to check the Transportation website (mentioned above) for current and more specific information.

When entering campus from George Bush Drive, turn on to campus at Olsen Blvd. At the first stop sign, turn into parking lot 100J and park as close as you can to Outdoor Adventures. The south entrance has a large sign hanging in the window. If you do not have a valid permit, you can pay by the hour. The Pay Station is located at the southeast corner of the parking lot, near the side walk that takes you into the baseball stadium.

1. To save time, download the Parkmobile app, available on the AppStore, Google Play, or Windows Store, or those without a smartphone may use the mobile web app.
2. Sign up with your email, license plate number, and a payment method.
3. Once registered, you may begin to use Parkmobile immediately to pay on-the-go.
   1. The south side parking lot (Blue Bell Park) is 100J and the Parkmobile lot designator is 7731.
4. Main Student Recreation Center entrance parking lot is 104 and the Parkmobile lot designator is 7727.

Using the TAMU Aggie Spirit Buses from Rec Centre to MSC/Trigon

1. If you want to travel from the REC Center (Venue) to Campus ( to Attend GIS Events) please use Bus Route number 1 (BONFIRE)( LINK) and board the bus near the REC center and alight the bus at Trigon or Commons to get to the library.
2. If you want to travel to REC Center from Campus you can take either Bus Route Number 1 or Bus Route number 8 (HOWDY) (LINK). Be informed that the Bus Route Number 1 takes a longer route and you may prefer to take Route Number 8 from MSC instead.
