The purpose of the Savage Six Scholastics Chain is to ensure all appropriate measures are taken through our cadets to allow for academic success and to implement the Corps academic policy. The scholastics chain aims to develop new ways to support and improve the academic accomplishments of cadets who are held to a higher standard as they strive for future achievements beyond disciplinary purposes. Because of our outstanding Scholastics Chain, Squadron Six consistently scores above the average university and Corps GPA. Additionally, each semester multiple Squadron Six cadets earn awards for their academic excellence.
The purpose of the Squadron 6 Recruiting Chain is to offer the best possible experience for prospects who come to Spend the Night with the Corps and encourage future leaders to join the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. Future leaders who choose to participate in Spend the Night with the Corps can expect some of the following activities:
Receiving a Corps-specific campus tour from Darling Recruiting Company
Attending an evening formation and dinner in Duncan Dining Hall
Receiving one-on-one time with current Squadron Six cadets
Attending a morning formation and breakfast in Duncan Dining Hall
Participating in morning physical training time (optional)
Attending a lecture with a current Squadron Six cadet
The purpose of the Squadron 6 Career Readiness Chain is to provide the cadets of Savage Six with opportunities to prepare themselves for productive, fulfilling careers upon graduation. Some common activities facilitated by Career Readiness Chain include:
Creating and updating LinkedIn profiles throughout a cadet's college career
Practicing interviews and creating resumes
Discussing professionalism in speech, dress, and presentation
Additionally, as an Air Force outfit, Squadron Six produces a high number of quality Air Force officers.
The purpose of the Squadron Six Training Chain is to train and develop cadets into physically fit cadets regardless of their previous physical fitness background.
The purpose of the Squadron Six Operations Chain is to plan and coordinate outfit events generally involved with Goodbull, special training times, and events that include cadet families.

The purpose of the Squadron Six Inspector General Chain is to ensure cadets meet military proficiency standards while enforcing the military bearing necessary for Corps Operations and Professionalism, upholding the standard in all respects. Activities facilitated by our Inspector General Chain include:
Preparation for Military Proficiency Inspections (MPI)
Enforcement of cadet room and uniform standards
Inspection-specific training times used to practice upholding room and uniform standards
Assistance to any Squadron Six cadet in need of additional practice of military standards
The purpose of the Squadron Six Public Relations Chain is to build, develop, and maintain Squadron Six’s relationships with other organizations and people. The PR Chain is responsible for building strong connections that may be vital for the outfit in the future. Some of the responsibilities of PR Chain include:
Create and distribute eye-catching merchandise each semester
Promote the accomplishments of Squadron Six's cadets
Highlight the work of the different chains in the outfit
Keep parents, family, and friends connected with their cadet through cadet features and relevant post on events and training times
Connect the outfit with former Squadron Six cadets through the Squadron Six Legacy Group

The purpose of the Squadron Six Logistics Chain is to assist the outfit in the coordination of any given outfit event, as well as the procurement, maintenance, and divestment of outfit property and equipment. Some of the activities Logistics Chain helps facilitate include:

The purpose of the Squadron Six Community Service Chain is to promote and develop individual and group selfless service in the community. Our outfit motto states, "...service in all we do," corroborating selfless service as one of our top priorities. From their very first day in Squadron Six, all cadets are taught to live their lives in service to others.
Squadron Six regularly completes service with Keep Brazos Beautiful, Bella's Buddies, and Peach Creek Assisted Living.

The purpose of the Squadron Six Barbeque Chain is to provide good bull and good food to current Savages and their family as well as alumni in celebration of the various football games in the fall semester.
The purpose of the Squadron Six Athletics Chain is to create individuals who are not only physically fit but also athletically capable and skilled at teamwork. This is accomplished through involvement in intramurals and extracurricular athletic events. Our Savages are devoted to their physical fitness development outside of training times, training to compete in:
the Austin Half & Full Marathons
the Bryan-College Station Half & Full Marathons
the Texas Independence Relay
various different 5k & 10k races throughout the semester
