This course, titled "Electronic Properties of Materials," is a fundamental part of the electrical engineering and computer engineering curriculum. It covers essential topics such as quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, semiconductor materials, and charge transport phenomena, which are crucial for understanding modern electronic and optoelectronic devices.
At the end of this course, I developed a strong foundation in the physical principles governing electronic materials, including band theory, carrier dynamics, and the behavior of semiconductors under various conditions. This course provided the necessary background for further study in areas such as semiconductor device fabrication, nanotechnology, and advanced materials science.
