Common Themes
A lot of students seem to use Instagram and Youtube. They are both very useful social media tools. The following students all use Instagram:
Another common theme I found was that many students included sitcoms like Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, etc.
The most common way we all tend to listen to music is through Spotify. It is a really good app with a huge collection of all different genres.
Revisions
Based on other people's media categorization, I could have categorized my media by consumption and producer as well. I categorized more based on the kind of media instead of who created it. One issue that I had not thought was the issues with immersive media like how VR can cause motion sickness for some people. Additionally, the technological issues are very annoying to deal with especially with respect to latency.Â
