Difficulties Facing My Media Consumption
The increasing number of streaming services available nowadays coupled with the different kind of media available on these services is a challenge to navigate. All the movies and shows are scattered throughout the different streaming services so we have to subscribe to many of them to cover all of the content. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock and Max are all the ones I have subscribed to in order to be able to watch everything I want. Additionally, the different services also remove shows periodically so I have to keep up with what is available where and when it is being removed. For example, Friends was removed from Netflix to move to Max so I had to subscribe to Max. The reason streaming services became popular was because it eliminated the need for cable subscription bundles and now it seems like we are back to the same issue.
