Sorghum is one of the world’s most important cereal crops, serving as a critical source of food, feed, and bioenergy. In the Magill Lab, we advance agricultural sustainability by investigating the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying fungal diseases that threaten sorghum production. Based in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Texas A&M University, our research bridges fundamental plant pathology with applied solutions for crop improvement.
