System Requirements

Web browser (latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
Internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
Gamma is used straight from the web, so there is no installation required
Recommended: Create a Gamma account to be able to save and go back to previous projects

Click the Create new AI, start from blank, or import buttons on the dashboard.
In the prompt box, enter a clear and specific question, task, or command.
Examples:

"Put together an outline that I can use to make a presentation for my business class."

"Generate a presentation that explains how AI boosts productivity."

"Explain how Newton’s Third Law applies to rocket propulsion."

If this is a group project, you are able to add new members to your session by clicking on the share button in the top right. From there, click collaborate and add your group members via email.

Review the response from AI Gamma, for this instruction set, we are using the prompt:
"Put together an outline that I can use to make a presentation for my business class."
If the response is incomplete or too broad, you may:
Ask follow-up questions (example: “Can you explain that more simply?”)
Provide new parameters (example: “Limit your answer to 150 words, or can you elaborate more on the section about economic benefits? ”)
- Ask the AI to restructure or reword certain sections (example: "On the third slide, reword it to make it sound more professional.")

After Gamma generates your prompt, it will take you to the outline. From there, you can use various tools.
These tools include: adding new cards, dragging cards to change the order, inserting charts / linking important information, changing your theme, and various other features.
Almost everything in Gamma can be edited. To edit a particular slide, all you have to do is click on it. From there, you can edit the text or use any of the previously mentioned tools.
If you do not like the way something looks, you can click on it and ask the AI to change it to something that better fits your presentation.
For example, if I were going to change the castle in the slide pictured on the right, simply click on it and ask Gamma to change it (See images below for a visual)

After editing all your slides to include everything you need its time to export and save your work.
There is also a present option, if you want to see how the presentation looks before you present the slides.
We recommend using the present mode to ensure everything looks right before saving and exporting your file.
To save your presentation, click “share” at the top right of your workspace. This button allows you to save your slides as a PDF document or send them as PowerPoint or Google Slides.
You can also publish your presentation directly to a website if needed.

Go as in-depth in your prompt as possible to give clear guidelines for what you want the tool to provide. The more information, the better.

Make sure
Responses may reflect outdated or generalized information; verify critical content.
Avoid entering sensitive or confidential data unless you have a secure, enterprise-level agreement.
