Application Form

To apply to be a participant of the Summer Institute, please fill out the following form:

Please note: applicants will need a Google account in order to complete the form.

Upon completing and submitting the Google Form, you will receive notification of your submission via the email address you provide. If you do not receive a notification, please double check that the Form was submitted.

Application Materials

A complete application form will contain the following items:

-A current Curriculum Vitae (CV)

-A brief essay indicating interest, preparation, and expected benefits from participating in the institute

-For graduate students only: A letter of support from advisor emailed to nehinstitute@tamu.edu

Application Timeline

We will begin accepting applications on December 8. The deadline for applying is March 6, 2026 11:59 pm (PDT). All applicants will be notified of our decision on April 6 via the email address provided in the application form. Those who have been accepted have until April 17 to confirm their participation in the summer institute.
