A Window into My 2020 Lockdown

Alert Level 3 was the call

Auckland city it hit us all

From midday till midnight

To investigate why? Is it right?

A new announcement from Jacinda

The whole nation thinking hinder

3 days turned into 12 days

While the virus was making waves.

This can’t be true!

But I think I’ll get through

The PM keeping us calm

So nobody comes to harm.

“Stay home in a bubble

Stay out of trouble

Do puzzles and play

Make use of your day.”

I can play on the tramp

Ride my scooter on a ramp

Read a book to relax

Or eat my favourite snacks.

Still, I think I’ll be happy

Better than being crappy

Mom! A device did you say?

Just stay home and play.

Keeping each other company

With open arms and in harmony

Be kind, be safe and be vigilant

Lending a helping hand is brilliant.

A second wave of the virus lockdown

People are advised not to congregate around

Too many people aren’t good

If you want to stay safe in your hood.

With a helpline number available

Asking everyone to be sensible

Any support with a device

Gets sent without compromise.

TLN Student wifi is a necessity and a life saviour

We can hangout and do us all a favour

Keep in touch with Fusion

To ensure there’s no confusion.
