In art, composition refers to the arrangement and organisation of visual elements within a work of art, such as a painting or sculpture. It involves how elements like lines, shapes, colours, and space are combined and placed to create a specific visual structure and effect. Good composition can guide the viewer's eye, create a sense of balance and harmony, and help the artist convey their intended message or emotion.Â
