All the Internal Achievement Standards require you to show evidence of your ability to write, speak and comprehend te reo Māori in a range of contexts.
All your evidence will be collected throughout the year like a portfolio.
You will submit a minimum of two of your best pieces for assessment for each of the three internal Achievement Standards - 91654 Waihanga Tuhinga, 91651 Kōrero, and 91650 Whakarongo.
All are due by the end of Term 3.
You have two External Achievement Standards, a reading and a writing one, both of which will be assessed at the end of the year in your end-of-year exams.

Plan, prepare, and produce a hāngī as part of a team, in accordance with tikanga and kawa (5 credits).
Explain the creation of the world in accordance with ngā kōrero tuku iho and analyse its influence on tikanga (3 credits).
Explain how the deeds and roles of selected atua Māori have influenced iwi (3 credits).
