• Explain force and its units and understand balanced and unbalanced forces.

• Define the mass of an object and explain gravity and its effect on mass.

• Differentiate between mass  weight

• Calculate the weight of an object when mass is given

(weight force = mass x g)

• Define friction and its effects.

• Define and calculate speed ( v = d/t)

• Plot a distance-time graph

• Understand the  characteristics of magnets (poles, attraction, repulsion)
