At Tamaki College, the Junior programme is taught in years 9 and 10.
Students engage in learning across level 5 of the New Zealand curriculum.
Our common language of learning is based around SOLO taxonomy, which supports and prepares students for the demands of NCEA.
At Year 9, students explore concepts such as identity and community with relation to their own perspectives as well as the perspectives of people around them. Our students look at real world problems, inquire about reasons for these problems and possible solutions.
