My name is Ms. Dauberman and I am one of the School Counselors at Tallmadge Elementary School. The 25-26 school year will be my 8th year here at Tallmadge!
I grew up in Bath, Ohio and graduated from Revere High School. I attended the University of Akron & earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I then attended Bowling Green State University where I graduated with a Masters in Education in School Counseling. I spent 3 years as the School Counselor at Otsego Elementary School (K-5) in Tontogany, OH (NW Ohio). I then got married in 2017 and moved back home to NE Ohio. I spent the 2017-2018 school year working as an Academic Advocate for Project Rise (working with students experiencing homelessness) at Akron Public Schools. In the fall of 2018, I started at Tallmadge! This school year will be my 12th year as a School Counselor.
I currently live in Norton with my daughter, Payton. Payton is starting kindergarten this year! We have a Mini-Goldendoodle, Molly, who is a certified Therapy Dog and attends school with me a couple days a week. I am committed to making the world better in any way I can and my work as a School Counselor is just one way I can do that! In my free time I love working in real estate part-time (I'm a licensed realtor!), watching TV, doing anything creative, and spending time outside (swimming, walking, bike riding, etc.).
