MEET MR. GAMBOW

Hello!

My name is Mr. Gambow and I am one of the School Counselors at Tallmadge Elementary School. The 25-26 school year will start my 7th year here at Tallmadge! 

I grew up in Hartville, Ohio and graduated from Lake High School. I attended Walsh University & earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology as well as my Masters in School Counseling. I spent the second half of the 2017-2018 school year working as a long term School Counselor sub in Norton. After that, I spent 2 years as the School Counselor at Lagonda Elementary School (K-6) in Springfield, OH (SW Ohio). After receiving the offer to work in Tallmadge, I moved back to NE Ohio in 2019 and started working at Dunbar and Munroe. This will be my 9th year as a School Counselor. It will also be my 5th year as the Varsity Boy's Tennis Coach. I hope to make positive impacts on students and staff for many years to come!

This summer, one of my co-counselors Ms. Dauberman officiated my wedding. I got married to 1st grade teacher Miss DiFalco (now Mrs. Gambow). We have been together almost 5 years and loved every moment of our wedding this summer! In my free time I love playing sports (tennis, pickleball, running, basketball), spending time with my family, and cooking or trying new restaurants.
