Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

WELCOME TO FIFTH GRADE!!! We are Mrs. Erin Bluey and Ms. Nikki Fudale, and we are your child’s teachers this year. We are very excited about our year ahead! We anticipate a year filled with explorations and accomplishments. It will be a year of learning and growth as students, teachers, and parents work together as a team to create the best possible experience for the student individually and our class a whole. Our classroom community will be grounded in mutual respect, a comfortable environment that invites all questions, and a passion to make learning a lifelong adventure.  

In the following pages, we have provided some important information that will help you and your child progress through 5th grade. We will be discussing the information with your child, but would appreciate if you would also review it with him/her as well.

Our 5th Grade website will keep you and your child connected and informed about what’s going on in the classroom. On it, you will find features such as class updates, daily blogs, printable homework assignments, student links, and a class calendar. It is a tool that you should access on a regular basis during the school year.
