The Career and Technical Education Health Science program prepares students for employment in careers that involve planning, managing, and providing healthcare services through professions in the following categories: therapeutic services, diagnostic services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development.

These classes serve as the foundation for numerous certifications in the medical field including Phlebotomy Technician, Multi-Skilled Patient Care Technician, Administrative Medical Assistant, and Medical Assisting Technology
Classes in this program are free to students at EBCTC and can pay for an academic class in the program.
Students must be in at least the 10th grade and have a 2.5 GPA to qualify for the program.
