The 2020-2021 school year will be my 16th year teaching at Talawanda High School. I have always taught English II and have taught Speech for over ten years. I have also taught English I, English IV, Content Area Literacy, Academic Seminar, and worked as a SAP advocate. I am the advisor for Best Buddies and the freshman class advisor.

I am married to my husband Ben and have four children: Delia, my step-daughter, a sophomore at Centerville High School, Lydia, a third grader at Marshall, Clive, a kindergartener at Marshall, and Alvie, a very active one-year-old.

In my free time, I enjoy searching for critters with my three youngest children, visiting the zoo, running, swimming, spending time with my two dogs and two cats, and reading memoirs and historical fiction. My favorite summer reads were Between the World and Me and Stamped. My favorite movie of all time is Beetlejuice and my current favorite TV shows are Never Have I Ever and Love on the Spectrum.
