Eligible students who are interested in the United States Military Service Academies are encouraged to begin the process in their Junior year. For many academies, the applicant portal will open in early Spring of Grade 11. The Service Academies are highly selective and the process is very unique. In addition to competitive grades, there will be additional requirements which can include: a physical fitness test, competitive SAT scores, recommendations, interviews and a Congressional Nomination from your home state's Senator. 

There are also a number of scholarship awards made available by the ROTC at select U.S. universities. Be sure to check the ROTC website of the branch you're interested in for the latest updates and requirements.
