At no cost to the student or family, Tahoma students can earn college credits while being enrolled in high school CTE courses. Students are required to earn a "C" grade or better in their high school course and register with the colleges to obtain college credit.
The vocational programs offered at Tahoma High School depend on community and business members to serve on advisory committees. The purpose of these committees is to ensure that the programs offered at the high school prepare students for specific careers or higher education.
With the approximately 10 hours per year time commitment, advisory committees are a time-efficient way for community members to impact learning at the high school.
