Introduction 簡介
The establishment of the Sing Yin Secondary School String Quartet can be describe as a coincidence. Under the pandemic of COVID-19 in 2020, the rehearsal of String Orchestra has to be suspended. However, the Orchestra had been invited to join a concert at Christmas. So the committees decided to form a temporary string quartet, and performed in that Concert. Unfortunately, the pandemic was worse before the concert and the concert was canceled. Until the eve of the graduation ceremony in 2021, we were being entrusted to perform in the graduation ceremony. Thence, the string quartet formally established with the support of our school. We hope that we can keep our passion on music in the future and share our music to our schoolmates. Moreover, we look forward to learn and improve our skills by participate in more competitions.
聖言中學弦樂四重奏的成立可謂是機緣巧合。二零二零年，在肺炎疫情的侵擾之下，樂團無法進行恆常的排練。但樂團早前已獲邀參加一場聖誕音樂會，幾位幹事便決定自組一個臨時的弦樂四重奏在音樂會中演出。不料在音樂會舉行前，疫情突然急劇惡化，音樂會便被迫取消，我們的排練也被迫停止。直至二零二一年畢業典禮前夕，我們臨危受命，獲校方邀請於典禮上演出。至此，聖言中學弦樂四重奏在校方的支持下正式成立。未來我們希望繼續秉持著精益求精的精神演奏不同的樂曲，使音樂融入我校學生的生活之中。與此同時，我們也希望未來能透過參加不同比賽與其他參賽者相互切磋，交流對音樂的感受。
