The Sing Yin String Orchestra has been established for 19 years from 2001. Our predecessor is String Group which was formed in 1998. We are committed to promoting string instruments to students of Sing Yin Secondary School, so as to cultivate their interest of music and provide a platform for students with musical talents to express themselves. We actively participate in performances and competitions. For example, the orchestra participated in the Christmas concert in City Hall every year . Under the baton of Conductor Mr. Wesley Chan, we got Silver Award from Joint School Music Competition 2019（String Orchestra）.

聖言中學弦樂團成立於二零零一年，迄今十九年，現任指揮為陳創威先生。我們的前身是成立於一九九八年的聖言中學弦樂組 。至二零零一年,我們在校方的支持下成立弦樂團。我們致力於向聖言中學的同學推廣弦樂，以此培養同學的音樂素養，並為有音樂才能的同學提供一個平台表現自我。同時，我們亦積極參加各項大小比賽以及演出，例如香港大會堂的聖誕音樂會等。在二零零八年，我們參加了音樂事務處主辦二零零八香港青年音樂匯演，並獲得銀獎。而在二零一九年，我們參與了二零一九聯校音樂大賽（弦樂組），亦取得銀獎。
