Our Definition of Inquiry:
Inquiry-based education is a process-driven exploration during which learning is active and student-led, with teacher facilitation, allowing students to gain a personal foothold by fostering curiosity in order to claim ownership through self-reflection.

Our mission is to harness the power of AI into our classrooms, streamlining daily teaching tasks so that we can focus on tailoring lessons to individual student needs and empowering all students with vital skills for the future. Through responsible and ethical implementation, AI can be a valuable tool that supports educators in preparing students for a continually evolving world. From there, we will explore ways to teach students how to effectively use AI as a tool to enhance learning and achieve success.

Artificial intelligence refers to the simulation of tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as understanding language, recognizing patterns, problem-solving, and making decisions. It is also able to enhance, explain or simplify tasks.

Our Definition of Writing Across the Curriculum:
Writing Across the Curriculum is both a program and a set of supports that improves the quality of writing and critical thinking skills of all students by integrating writing into the learning process across various disciplines. Students are given a set of tools and strategies for understanding the fundamentals of writing. This heuristic technique helps students better process information, ask in-depth analytical questions, develop critical thinking skills, understand various forms of code switching, and communicate their ideas effectively.
We see writing as a thought-provoking analysis in which students are guided through a scope and sequence of mechanics at each grade level. Writing is not only a tool for communication, but also a tool for learning.
Key features of a Writing Across the Curriculum approach may include:
Encouraging various forms of writing, such as essays, research papers, emails, DBQs, journals, resumes, and reflections, in different subject areas
Provides guidance and support to students in understanding the specific writing requirements and expectations of each subject and scaffolds these expectations by grade level
Emphasize the revision process to improve writing skills and encourage the development of a growth mindset thereby incorporating peer review and feedback that fosters a collaborative learning environment.
