Continuing our journey through the story of Aotearoa, we wanted to find out how Te Tiriti o Waitangi is relevant to us today.
We visited the National Library and acted out lots of the people and events from the time Te Tiriti was signed.

Every class made a meaningful promise to do something that would keep Te Tiriti alive at SPS. We used our marks to sign the promise.

At the end of the year, Freddie wrote and delivered a speech arguing that every school in Aotearoa should use te reo Māori.
