Any girl who hires a school instrument must take up private music tuition at St. Clare’s and become a member of at least one of the Musical Ensembles at the College, as the cost of instrument hire is heavily subsidised. We also recommend Prestige Music at Bondi Junction for reliable and reasonable instrument hire.

St Clare’s & Waverley College Musical

Every few years St Clare’s College and Waverley College combine to produce a School Musical. Recent Musicals have included High School Musical, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar and Shout. Auditions are called for leads, chorus, band, dancers, and actors. Volunteers are needed for back stage, props, scenery, costumes, sound, lighting and visuals, as well as ushers and advertising. We have just announced that our next musical will be Guys & Dolls. Performance will take place next May at Nida.
