Marriage

"Marriage is the reflection of the relationship between Jesus Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:25,29). Thus marriage is seen by Christians to be a loving, life-long relationship in which the couple are to be completely, even sacrificially, committed to each other." From: Cambridge Studies of Religion 2nd Ed. p.206

Saturday/ Sunday Worship

The followers of Jesus used the day of Jesus' resurrection, Sunday, to gather, share stories of Jesus and the disciples and break bread. Today, most Christian Churches are in agreement that Sunday is the Lord's day and that it is to be observed as the primary holy day of obligation. From: Cambridge Studies of Religion 2nd Ed. p.267
