We value our partnership with parents and guardians in the education of your sons. This presentation provides a summary of key information about how we will work together throughout our Learning from Home arrangements.
There is much commentary and advice in the media about 'homeschooling' in the context of these current times. This can be confusing for families who are now doing their best in juggling the demands of home and work as well as now supervising the learning of their sons.
We want to ensure that our families know that we are not asking for you to homeschool your sons; we as teachers will set, monitor and feedback on learning for your sons throughout the Learning From Home arrangements. We ask that our parents and guardians are setting routines and have expectations with their sons about working hard and striving for their best in learning.
As we start working in this way, we will communicate with parents and guardians about how learning is going, especially if we have concerns. We ask you to let us know any concerns that arise from your perspective as well.
