Our Youth Work Project is called Youth-180.
What is Youth-180?
Youth-180 are a team of a team of Christian youth workers partnering with schools & churches, in the heart of England. Youth-180˚ is a part of The Restore Collective based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and are an associated ministry of Youth for Christ.
Their aim is to "Take the good news relevantly to young people" through acts of practical service. They do this by assisting young people socially, morally, spiritually, emotionally and personally, to help them find their intrinsic value and become productive members of society.
The youth workers spend at least two days a week each in school and attached to a church aiming to live their lives defined by faith, hope and love, whilst delivering a variety of social and educational group activities plus one to one mentoring and pastoral care to individual young people, this includes delivering lessons, mentoring, running after school and lunch time clubs, running youth clubs, drop in centre's, events and Sunday schools.
Current Work
Youth-180 currently has two youth workers full time in Hartshill school, supported by their Welbeing Dog Lola.
