Grounded in the science of reading, ARC Core meets the English and Spanish literacy needs of all students in any learning environment. Through extensive reading, writing, research, and analysis, students develop agency and expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, preparing them to lead in a changing world.
Learning A-Z is used in K-3 to build foundational skills, including, but not limited to: phonics, vocabulary, fluency, high frequency word study, and comprehension.
Fundations is a multisensory and systematic phonics, spelling, and handwriting program. Fundations is used for core instruction in the whole group setting. It teaches foundational skills and supports reading, writing, and language standards. The following concepts and skills are presented cumulatively from unit to unit and year to year: letter formation, phonological and phonemic awareness, sound mastery, phonics, word study, advance word study, irregular (trick) word instruction, vocabulary, fluency, and written composition (spelling and handwriting). Fundations offers multiple opportunities for skills practice and application to build mastery.

HMH Into Literature equips students with the reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills required for success in tomorrow's world. HMH Fresh Lit is a new collection of culturally relevant YA short stories written exclusively for HMH. These engaging stories, focused on topics young readers care about, are available in English and Spanish.
