Welcome to Third Grade!
My name is Megan Snyder, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year.
I am both a resident of the Swedesboro-Woolwich community and a parent to former Swedesboro-Woolwich students. I have two daughters: Molly, a senior, and Emma, a freshman, at Kingsway Regional High School. My girls have had many wonderful educational opportunities and teachers during their time in the S/W school district. My goal is to provide your children with similar positive experiences as we learn and grow together.
I graduated from Ursinus College with a BacheIor of Arts in English and teaching certificates in Elementary Education (K-6) and Secondary Education (English Teacher 6-12). Upon graduation, I was hired as a language arts teacher at Memorial Middle School in Medford, NJ where I worked for 10 years teaching ELA in 7th grade. In 2007, I began my maternity leave which led to my second career: stay-at-home mom. Being home for 14 years with my girls was a blessing that I will always treasure.
This is my fourth year back in the classroom, and I can't wait to get started! I plan to create a classroom that helps your child to learn, to grow, and to feel part of a school community. I look forward to getting to know you over the course of the year as we work together to ensure a successful partnership in your child’s education.
