Kindergarten is a time to learn and grow in all areas.  Our school

 day will focus on reading, writing, phonics, math, science, social

 studies, and comet time.  

Targets - in kindergarten, we are developing student’s understanding - targets are goals we work towards

-We introduce the importance of reflecting on targets/goals - help students understand how they are doing and where to go next 

-Visualize  -Students will close their eyes and paint a picture of themselves meeting the learning target in their minds.

- Smart Cookie Board - targets change as we progress through the curriculum 

-Students earn stars to be placed on their numbered cookie once an understanding occurs!
