Hi! I'm Mrs. Nair!

I am originally from Chicago, and my husband and I relocated to South Jersey about 14 years ago. I attended North Park University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I also earned a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago. Before moving to New Jersey, I had the privilege of teaching students in Chicago for several years.

Since moving to New Jersey, my husband and I have welcomed two wonderful daughters into our family. Jyothi is 8 years old, and Jaya is 1 year old. This will be my 14th year in SWSD, and it has truly become my home sweet home. I feel so fortunate to be part of such an amazing school community!

A Few Fun Facts About Me

☕ My favorite drink is black coffee—breakfast blend, to be exact!

🐘 My favorite animal is an elephant. I love all things elephants, and I definitely get that from my dad!

🏙️ Chicago will always hold a special place in my heart because I love visiting family and friends there.

🍕 My favorite food is pizza—especially a delicious thin-crust pizza! And of course, I also LOVE ice cream. Latteria is the BEST ice cream ever!
