Education: 

Masters in Elementary Education K-8. Holy Family University

BA in Communications. Rowan University

Experience:

I have taught preschool, third grade and fourth grades prior to joining Harker School as a third grade teacher.

This is my 14th year teaching third grade in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District. 

Teaching Philosophy

•All children are capable of learning when they feel safe and accepted within their learning community.

•All children have something unique to bring to the table, and each of these unique perspectives contribute to all of our growth.

•Effective learning requires a team effort between parent, teacher, and student.

•School is an extension of home; we are a family in this classroom and treat each other with respect.

•Learning is a social activity and is most meaningful when children are actively engaged with their peers and are having fun. 

Facts About Me:

I live in Wenonah with my husband, Vince, and our two children.  Our daughter, Ryann, is a junior at Coastal Carolina University and our son, Trent, is in 12th grade at Paul VI High School.  We also have a puppy ~ our Corgi Maxie who we love and spoil!
