As a teacher, I would say the foundation of my classroom lies on these three important principles: inclusion, collaboration and having fun. Each of these are crucial to the success of not only my students, but myself as an educator. I strive to have these principles at the focal point of my instruction and interaction with each of my students. Without these principals in my classroom, I would not be the educator I am today. These three principals come together and allow me to best reach the individual needs of my students.
Having fun is at the very core of my heart, I feel that a life without fun is a life not lived to the fullest. If you can find fun in the things you do, even the tough things, they aren't as bad as they seem. That being, said I am your child's educator so learning is the top priority. We do a lot of group work in my class as well as small group instruction. Both, I feel, are excellent ways to not only grow one's knowledge, but cement one's understanding as well.
