About Me:
I grew up in Woolwich and attended the Harker School as a fifth grader the first year it was built in 2008. It was so exciting going to school in a brand new building, and it continues to be just as special each day I walk through the doors as a teacher!
I graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a dual major in Elementary Education and English. I student taught here at Harker, in a 4th-grade classroom! A few years later, I obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. This will be my seventh year of teaching!
As a young child, it was always my dream to become a teacher, and I am so happy that I am able to live that dream! I have a genuine passion for working with children and inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves. My class each year becomes like another family to me, and each student always ends up holding a special place in my heart for years to follow.
My goal is to create a positive, welcoming classroom where every student feels safe to be themselves. By encouraging kindness, empathy, and a growth mindset, I hope to inspire students to reach their full potential and carry these values into their future endeavors.
Please do not hesitate to email me if you have a question or concern throughout the year. I prioritize partnering with parents and guardians to support each student's individual needs and give them the best 4th-grade experience possible!
