About Me:
I grew up in Woolwich and attended the Harker School as a fifth grader the first year it was built in 2008. It was so exciting going to school in a brand new building, and it continues to be just as special each day I walk through the doors as a teacher!
I graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a dual major in Elementary Education and English. I then obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. This will be my sixth year of teaching!
As a young child, it was always my dream to become a teacher, and I am so happy that I am able to live that dream! I have a genuine passion for working with children and inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves. My class each year becomes like another family to me, and each student always ends up holding a special place in my heart for years to follow.
It's a goal of mine for everybody in my class to feel welcome, included, and loved. I aim to provide a positive environment so that students not only feel that our classroom is a safe place for them to be themselves, but also so that they go into the world knowing the importance of kindness and empathy. I hope to instill in each of them a growth mindset and a drive to achieve so that they can continue to reach success in their future endeavors.
Please do not hesitate to email me if you have a question or concern. I prioritize partnering with parents and guardians so that we can work together to support each student's individual needs.
