I am one of the ACES teachers here at the Harker School. I have been working here in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District for 22 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. I have a Masters in Reading from Wilmington University. I am also a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I started my career teaching 1st grade here in Swedesboro-Woolwich. I have also taught fourth and fifth grades as well. I am a member of the I&RS team and help organize the Book of the Year.
I live in South Harrison with my husband and son, Griffin, who is 14. Something interesting about me is that I LOVE to travel. I have traveled across the country in an RV and traveled through 15 states including Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and South Dakota. This trip took us to Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, and Niagara Falls. I have also been to Alaska, Texas, and California. Besides traveling, I love to read, go hiking, and spend time at the beach.
