Mrs. Michele Garcia

 My teaching career began over 30 years ago in Philadelphia where I taught kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade classes. I have a Bachelor of Art in Elementary Education from Temple University and a Masters in Reading from Arcadia University. This is my 22nd year of teaching in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District.  I was third grade teacher for 15 years in the district. Currently, I am a 3rd grade Academic Coach at Harker and a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner.  Additionally, I am a member of the I&RS team. During the 2014-2015 school year, I was nominated as Harker's Teacher of the Year. 

I have lived in Woolwich since I started teaching in the district. Yes, I love living where I work! Both of my children have attended the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District from Kindergarten to sixth grade.
