Hello to you all at St. Wenceslaus. I am extremely excited to be here with you. I am needing to talk a little about myself and find myself without words. So, here I go.
I was born in California and raised there until I was 9 years old. My family moved here in 1982 to Shakopee, MN where we settled in and made some great memories. I graduated in 1991 from high school and went on to pursue a degree in accounting at Hennepin Tech in Eden Prairie, MN. I quickly realized that this was not my path, which made me decide to move back to my family in California because I was 20 years old and thought it would be a cool thing to do. 😅 I lived through an earthquake in 1993, never wanting to experience that again, which made me decide to leave. I moved to Wyoming where I met my husband. We have one son together, his name is Ryan and just turned 25 years old.
In 2005, I unfortunately had to go through a divorce. I had to find myself and realized that I wanted to go back to school and I knew I wanted to be a teacher. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears I was able to graduate from college in 2013. Shortly after graduation my son and I moved back here to Minnesota. I am happy to be back in the area and making new memories.
I don't really have hobbies per se. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, where we play games (card and board), make memories, and have a lot of laughs. I love to travel any chance I get. I have two cats that have my heart and love to be with them to play and snuggle.
My favorite things are being a mom, a daughter, a fiance, a teacher, the color purple, caffeine, and owls. I will also admit that I love the Minnesota sports teams. 😃
God bless you all
