Louis V. Romero has a Bachelor of Music Education from Southwest Texas State
University and a Master of Music Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Mr. Romero taught junior high and high school band in Lockhart ISD Texas for five years and in the San Antonio I.S.D. for twenty-one years. In San Antonio ISD, he has worked as the head band Director at Whittier Middle School for eight years, Edison High School for seven years and Highlands High School for seven years. He has also taught at Rogers MS, Irving MS and Jefferson HS.
Louis has been a contracted Worship Leader by the United States Air Force at Lackland AFB for 19 years and serviced approximately 4,000 trainees every weekend at the Gateway Chapel.
Mr. Romero is retired after 35 years of Band Directing and presently serves as Clinician and Advisor in the Southwest ISD and Somerset ISD.
He is married to Isabel Romero who is currently the Fine Arts Coordinator for Elementary Music, Middle School and High School Choir for the San Antonio Independent School District, San Antonio, TX . They have a Pekachu (Pekingese/Shi-Tzu) dog named Jazzy.
