Dear AP Students,

At this time you should have already signed up for your AP Classroom using a code provided by your teacher. If you are NOT in AP Classroom, please sign up now! You have to be in AP classroom in order for me to order an exam. You should also be monitoring our AP Exam Google Site for any updates. 

If you submitted the UBA and qualify for Free/Reduced eligibility, AP Osmus sent you an email with a code you can use to reduce exam costs to around $12 an exam. This is the most recent list of qualifying students.

If you did not qualify for Free/Reduced fee, you can now apply for the SUHi Foundation before October 23rd (but please apply ASAP). The SUHi Foundation will prioritize students taking a higher amount of AP exams, but will still consider other situations. Please fill out the Google form if you would like to apply.  After the 23rd, Ms. Osmus will send you a different code that reduces exam costs to around $51 an exam. The application form is here.

This is the time to pay for your exams!

Please be aware that our internal deadline to double check rosters is October 30th. Therefore, I am asking all students to pay before this “soft” deadline. The absolute final deadline is November 4th. After that, a $40 late fee will apply even if you qualify for the F/R financial aid. The only exception to this is for AP Macroeconomics students (they have a separate deadline you can see on our form above). 

Your next steps are:

1. Make sure you joined all of your AP Classrooms using the join codes given to you by your teacher ( myap.collegeboard.org/)

2. Check if you qualify for the Free/Reduced Eligibility 

3. If you did not qualify, apply for the SUHi foundation scholarship

4. Wait to receive any discount codes fromMs. Osmus

5. Go to http://aptsusa.com/sweetwater

6. After reading the information, click on the link for Sweetwater HS and complete the online payment form.
   - When prompted, say "Yes" to the question that you have been approved for a fee waiver code and then enter EITHER the F/R code OR the SUHi foundation code in the box that appears if you qualify. Be sure to use the correct code AP Osmus will email you. One code is for F/R qualification and the other code will be for SUHi foundation. If you do not have a code, do not worry about this.

7. The code will reduce the cost for students as needed. Your test will either cost around $102 for full price, $51 for SUHi foundation scholarship, or $12 for F/R financial aid.

8. Code usage will be verified by AP Osmus. If you use the code without permission, your test will be cancelled. 

9. Keep checking the AP Exams Google Site for every week or so for many updates. You can find this form by going to our school website > students > AP Exams
