• When arriving late to school in the morning, students should report directly to class for the first 15 minutes.
• Starting at 8:15, students need to report to the Attendance office to get a Late Pass and be properly coded in the system.
Students that are habitually tardy will be referred to the attendance coordinator and/or administrator. Consequences for habitual tardiness can include lunch detention(s) or Saturday School.
❗Excused/Unexcused Tardy❗
When a student is late to school because of illness or a medical appointment, the student must bring a note from the medical appointment, or the parent can Email RDM attendance with the information to be excused.
If a student is late to school or class for a reason other than illness or medical appointment, i.e. overslept, traffic, etc., it is recorded as an unexcused tardy and can result in getting assigned Saturday school.
